I wonder if I should put a T Astragal at the junction of my double doors - I have several - two mechanical closets - two entry's to sections of the house - one casita and one master bedroom

We are trying to decide whether or not to use a T Astragal and or the ball socket closures - the ball socket closures seem cheap to me but I'm not sure I like the look of the T Astragal at the Master location -

What would you advise - what are the important elements of this decision?
