Thx for the response. met with our fabricator last night, and decided to go with the Silestone Ariel. It has veining as well, it's just very subtle and light, which I like. We want neutral for resale, and you're so right about $2500 going a long way elsewhere. We are spending a bit more for the waterfall island, but I think that this is worth the cost (about $1000 more for fabrication).

Not yet. I think I'm getting white storm. I like it for it's clean look ans simplicity. Timeless. Ariel is beautiful, but the sample I saw looked slightly yellowed (the background/base).

Its a tough decision for sure. You can't go wrong though, as both are beautiful. I have to say though, I have seen samples of white quartz that seem to have yellowed. I think people borrow the samples sometimes and test them for staining, maybe clean them with the wrong products. Could be the sample of Ariel you saw was a victim of that.

My cabinets are stark white so I'm having a hard time matching.

@blahnik1 Don't try to match whites. It never works when you see it on a large scale with different materials and finishes.
