IDK, the ripstop nylon solid fabric hammocks we have a really great. We got the double sized ones so you can lay at an angle across the hammock.

I think the real question is spreader bar or no spreader bar.

My personal experience with things like directors chairs or camping cots that have solid fabric to support your body is that first they feel very comfortable but after about 20 minutes they start feeling harder and harder. Anything more than half an hour and I'm wanting to get off it.

I've used non spreader bar hammocks for camping and for the garden I'm going with a spreader bar, I should have added that to the list. I like the more open feel and, again for me, it's easier to just casually lay down on one with a spreader bar than one without.

The type of hammock you're looking for is likely to be expensive.

We used to have a very comfortable hand-woven one that was purchased for a good deal used. The best type have a tightly knit net weave that easily gives way. (Mayan hammock)

To some extent, there is a bit of trade-off between comfort and durability.

nylon is more durable, and more comfortable than polyester, but it is a little more expensive too
