Need help decorating plain kitchen island end panels

My black island needs something on the end panels to decorate it nicely. It's what one sees when walking into the kitchen. Any ideas?

    I would have a carpenter add trim to the side and back of your island. Creating interest and repeating the style of your cabinet doors. It finishes off the cabinet island nicely.
