Hello! When we bought our house the termite guys painted only the new boards on our porch so it is 2 colors. I don't have any of the old paint. I tried going darker on the front steps, and feel it is too dark as you can see in the picture.Could I get away with some lighter shade of mushroom grey/taupe to blend with our live oak tree ? I feel like a dark trim is dated, unless it's near black, so now I'm thinking lighter. I have to work with the color of the stucco because I don't want to paint the house right now just the porch and trim. The roof is an orangish brown. We are expanding the deck soon so I just need something so it looks nice and restful when we have all our friends over next month.. we are in a rural suburb of San Diego. If you also have a suggestion for the bright white garage doors I would love it ! Exterior paint is hard! Thank you !
