I am ready to stain a pine table that I made with rough saw cut pine planks. I have sanded and filled holes and ready to apply stain.

I purchased a wiping stain called Goudy , and want to make sure I am aware of all necessary advice prior to applying the stain and sealer.

The table will be used for the outdoors, it will be used for a porch which is covered.

I would love any advice in getting best results.
