The interior of the home we purchased a year ago is painted a pale ochre. It is a bit overwhelming and dark, but we cannot paint all of it on our budget. The floor-plan is open and ceilings are all very high with lots of beams and posts-- all painted the same color. So what I'd like to do is create some accent walls but I'm struggling with what color(s) would go well with that yellow. Any ideas are welcome!

Note, the pics are from the listing, so the depicted furnishings and decor isn't ours-- we have contemporary furnishings. If it helps, I posted the living room furniture which is eggplant (purple).
