We live in Kirkland, WA, and have a five year old grape vine that produces nice tart green grapes. The vine has a pretty significant case of blister mite. I've read that the little buggers winter over on the vine, no matter how carefully one prunes, dries, and burns the infected leaves. On the web, most advice is that the problem is purely cosmetic and to ignore it. Any experiences?
