HI -- Replace the shutters for concrete /stone architectural moldings around the windows ... that would look much better than those very small shutters . Sorry but I think those shutters look cheap ... builders grade .

Please take a photo of the entire house. It's impossible to give a helpful answer based on such a small area of the house. Left47 has the right idea in any case. Ditch the shutters.

If you have shutters, they should be about this big, see right side of photo. Are you prepared to replace them all?

I agree with Beverly, shutters should be wide enough to be able to close them in a storm, their original purpose. I don't mind the color, it goes well with the brick., if you get tired of that color, color them brighter the next time they need paint, nice brick!
