Fence layout with Utility Box

Next Spring we will be finally adding a fence to our home, but we have a layout issue. At one of our corners of our property is two green utility boxes that sit right where the side and rear fence would meet. The side fence will be built a few feet off the sidewalk but we are not sure what to do once that fence gets to the boxes.

As I see it, we could either:

1) Cut in 90 degrees when we get to the boxes, and then cut back to the rear fence line another 90 degrees creating a zig zag.

2) Connect the side and rear fence lines with a diaganol section creating an angled corner.

3) Build our side fence line even further in avoiding the clearance issues of the utility boxes . I don't really want to do this as it is already a small lot and I do not want to give myself even less yard.

What do you think? The fence we are building will be similar to the picket fence in the second photo.
