Simply White vs. Bright White on ceiling??

I have been told to always use Benjamin Moore's Bright White for a ceiling color. I recently went into our local paint store and the designer there said Benjamin Moore's Simply white is better for a ceiling because it doesn't have the gray undertones that bright white has. Does anyone have any thought on this?

Do you want gray undertones? I just get the plain, old, un-tinted white. That's as pure white as you can get. Look at the samples side by side or paint them on the ceiling. Light in someones home, along w/wall colors, can vary greatly.
