Purchased a new stainless steel vent hood that was covered with a protective film, with the exception of the control panel and surrounding area. Once we removed the film, we noticed the area that was not covered is slightly darker than the rest of the unit. Will this eventually adjust and all become the same color? Is this because part of the unit was exposed to the air and the rest was covered in the film?
