Faucet Color

We are doing a fairly traditional/comfortable style kitchen. We like the Victorian Delta kitchen faucet but are not sure if we should go with it in stainless to match our appliances or in a dark bronze. Our kitchen will have white cabinets, "silver cloud" granite, and a white farmhouse sink. Thoughts? Suggestions? Thanks!

What metal are you using on your light fixtures? Your handles? Tell us about other finishes. I rarely match fixtures to appliances- they'd all be stainless!! How boring if every kitchen had stainless fixtures!

Does your backsplash have any dark color? Asking cause I wonder what 1 ORbronze item would go with? Is floor dark, etc..??

everdebz, what type of subway tile do you have in the kitchen? love it.

We will have a dark hardwood floor in the kitchen. Backsplash has not been picked yet, but we are thinking white subway (hence the first question).

What will your cabinet pulls and sink be? I think that plays into the answer about you faucet as well. Not that they have to match, just part of the picture.

Great post about the lights and wood. We may or may not do lights over our island. If no lights then just high hats. The wood on the floor will be dark in color. Does that help anyone? Hardware on doors is flat black.

If your cabinet hardware is black, I would go with the stainless faucet.

Okay, so here are our island pendants. Cabinets are white, white subway backsplash, silver cloud granite, dark wood floors, matte black pulls/knobs.

why can't you do a matte black faucet to match you hardware?? No rule that says you have to have a stainless faucet because you have stainless appliances. Any of the finishes will go, but I like to match the knobs and pulls. For instance, I have stainless appliances but did copper hardware, copper sink so I did a copper finish on the faucet.

I just did a matte black faucet in our new bathroom redo. They look so sleek next to the white quartzite.

Forget the ORB and do a matte black if you don't want the silver. Be different!

Beth, we love that idea but matte black faucets are few and far between. We *love* the look of the two piece Victorian Delta line but it of course does not come in black :-(. Ugh! We could not find anything similar. Help is always appreciated!

Do you have to have the handle separate??

Otherwise, there are quite a few from Newport Brass.

also newport brass,,,"Universal". it comes in the Matte Black

Delta has this other one

And this one from Kohler is a little different with your separate handle.

I like the look of having just the one hole. Less to clean around. I believe I got mine from Delta. Handle on the main part. I like it much better. Just the one hole and the second hole for the soap dispenser.
