Hi Everyone! I was so excited to find this thread. Your pictures and comments have helped tremendously. Please keep them coming as we plan to break ground in the spring/summer of 2019 and are meeting with our 1st potential builder tomorrow to discuss this plan. We have some modifications we would like to make as well but for the majority we are keeping the plan as is - just bumping walls, making the guest rooms have a jack and jill bathroom, and putting in a 1/2 bath. I'm most concerned about the master bath. It doesn't seem very big (width). Did anyone do a toliet closet in the master? I would love if anyone could send or post pictures of their master bathroom and the back outside of house. I would love to see how others did the porches.

For those that have completed their builds and have had time to settle in, do you have any recommendations or things you would change now if you could?

Our build is complete and we are living in our new home. Still working on the grass though. :-)

Hi Angie CL. We are currently building in Mi. Our walkout basement is in and the siding is about complete. I have pictures.

My husband and I fell in love with this house! We will be building this year (finalizing plans now) but are switching some things around to accommodate for a bigger utility/mudroom and trying to open up the living room to the kitchen. All, not sure where everyone is on their builds but we are almost done with our version of this home and we like how it is coming along, except for a couple hiccups that were created by a horrible builder that we started with. Needless to say, we had to fire him but I think the house is coming along just fine without a builder. We modified the inside plans completely and some things don't make perfect sense but I think it will work for us. Will upload pics as soon as we can but would love to hear from everyone that has tried to stay true to the outer design.

450k..plus..thats with basement..might get by with 350k with crawl space and reduced architectural

Did any of you that have built this home with a basement consider a side entry on same side as the garage?
We are planning to build this home in middle TN in the best year and are working on our plans. I really would like a split type entry, garage and basement on same even (taking into account I have to make footprint bigger to accommodate this).
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
