Clearance rack

I'm not a fan of the big box stores, but sometimes I have to go. While shopping for supplies for an outdoor project, I found this on the clearance rack. $3.00.

Have you guys found any good deals?

Great find. I find the boxes a Pavlovian experience. Sometimes you get lucky and find something unexpected. You go back hoping for more luck and find the generic stuff. Plants keep ringing their bells and I keep drooling.

They sold Sans. Bantal's sensation for $12 in a big white vase. Thought it too high a price. All wet with no drain holes. Went back a week later. Found 4 on the rack for $3 ea. Bought all 4. Unpotted and was 4 plants each in each pot. Gave & traded half away on the Sans forum. Seldom find anything like it since.

Yep, I just got my daughter a Bantel's Sensation (or one very like it) at the BBS on clearance for $2. Because we need another houseplant in my house? Yep.
