Lined curtains on curtain rings hang better. Try to choose heavy or lined vs sheers.

I'm not sure! Probably wayfair, oversotck or kohls. Those came up in a Google search of white and grey patterned drapes

My only issue with this placement is it can't be in the corner b/c then it would be off center to the window. But then this creates a smaller LR space. Thoughts? Perhaps I'm just not used to it

That looks fantastic! Opens up the space. I always recommend pulling sofa off the wall even just a bit to allow breathing room. You'll get used to it, it's just a few inches.

So does it have to be ventured with the window? I'm unsure about the space behind the sofa.

Also sectionals are a heavy footprint but you already have it so we gotta make it work! Lighter fabrics and colors help accomplish opening up room

And no it need not be centered on window. But it looks better pulled away from window and wall just a tad
