If it was me, I'd take them to a recycle center. You might not get paid for them, but they will recycle them. I looked online and there is a value on brass, chromed or not, and people do recycle it.

Donate them to a Habitat for Humanity ReStore location. I just took some very nice tile to them and they really appreciated the donation.

Absolutely recycle. You will make barely enough to pay for your gas, but the environment will appreciate your effort.
