SUNROOM wall colour

I'm almost finished stripping all that green wall paper and plan on painting this weekend. This is a bright room as there are sky lights along the whole roof. My thoughts were to paint white walls and paint the yellow end tables white. Basically, everything white and use wood accents. The couch is grey and is staying. The throw carpet is a very light grey. The room beside it is a blue grey and my sectional is slate. Everyone keeps telling me not to do it white but I love all the white rooms I'm seeing.
Also, wow. There are a lot of shades of white. If I do decide to do a white how do I choose the " right white" any suggestions? Or should I paint a other colour?
I've also posted the room on the other side of the French doors ( i have a post about my mantle floating around here too) By the way you guys are such great help!

A light, silvery blue gray. RH (Restoration Hardware) Seafoam is a beautiful silver gray, a hint of blue. Very cloud like.

    Is white a mistake?

I think a shade of white would be fine, but with a tiny amount of green or blue, so it is barely noticeable. It will still give you the look of a white room, but help bring the outdoor colors in, and reduce the starkness of a white room with lots of sunlight. Plain white can look too bright and you would lose your beautiful moldings. You might even consider using the same blue/gray you have in your adjacent space. It would look completely different with all the sun, but help to join the spaces.

A color like this still keeps it light and open but will set off your white trim.

White is very nice. You can go with a off-white, but you would need to try a few to see which ones look best in your room. Light play a big role

I personally think white white would be a bit start, especially if you paint the end tables white too, but a very light color would probably be nice.

If you go with white, I'd go bright on the accents. Love the bright blue drawers you have. And I think yellow accents look wonderful in a sunroom. Very bright and happy. This picture's a good idea of what I'm thinking. It also includes lots of wood accents like you were thinking.

Another option is to go colorful! Sunrooms are great for bright colors because they get lots of light so you don't have to worry about a color darkening the room. It's also very happy, which I think fits sunrooms well. Here's some ideas.

One final idea. Paint it white with a light blue ceiling to mimic the sky. I think that would be very relaxing with nature-inspired accents to mimic what's outside the windows. It would become an extension of the outdoors.

I guess I was trying to. Relate a really peaceful quiet natural space. Do you think it would work in this area?

That should read " create a quiet natural space such as that photo"

I think you could achieve that. Just pick a warm white, probably off-white. BM Swiss coffee? It's a warm white. Then lots of wood and light textures like linen or canvas or knit throws.

You could try to tie the floor into it using small accents like one of these light pink throws.

Or you could try to hide it with a either a soft, fluffy rug or a natural fiber rug (adding to the natural textures).

I'm doing it this colour. With a natural finer throw carpet and white frames on the wall. I hope it all ties together!

I think it'll look nice :) Post pics when you paint!

Ok will do! Thanks everyone for your help!

I would do a medium-light gray on the walls and the side tables black with a couple of accent pillows that have the black-ivory-grey scheme on them. And with a blue throw blanket behind the pillows I'd say it would look good.
