It certainly won't smell like the traditional white sage, but I suppose pretty much any plant stems may be dried, bundled, & used in that manner. :-)

Smudge sticks typically use evergreen sage varieties. Pineapple sage is a deciduous sage and would be a potential fire hazard with its dried leaves.
