The only advice I give on wood look tile, or any tile for that matter in those spaces; it's cold (which you could run heat thru it), it's hard and anything you drop is gone .. in the kitchen, if you drop a glass it's shattered and spreads everywhere -- on hardwood you at least get a 50/50 shot at it surviving. Hardwood is a much nicer surface in those areas, but I understand the tile dilemma. I did a tile (porcelain) entry and then hardwoods throughout.
Also, be sure to use porcelain tile or American hardwoods .. don't go with synthetic or ceramic. Quality counts.

The hood/vent/blower will cost 3x the amount of the range you have selected. The photos you posted are used above 48" professional grade gas cooktops .. they NEED that style to vent the amount of btu's. Save this money and spend it on something else you would get your money back out of.

Thank you! I went and picked up a few samples that are cooler colors. If I strike out I will try these.

I know color questions are annoying because you just don't know until the paint goes up, but I needed a starting point!

Repose looks a tiny bit too tan. Comfort looks super green right now, blue in other spots, but it seems to always be a nice color. I like how it has some color.

I like the blue/green one

Benjamin Moore Edgecomb Gray HC-173 ...don't be fooled by the name, it is not a true gray. It is warmer and works in a lot of different environments and conditions.

Mine is a white, BEHR Ballet White.

I just painted my living room Pale Oak, I am in love with it. I tried a few off whites including Swiss coffee which I didn’t like. I painted my hallway Behr Mineral and this color is very very similar but I immediately didn’t like it because in some lights it has a pinkish cast. This is not pink or yellow. In some photos online it looked light grey but no grey here either, I also thought it would be too dark but it’s not. West facing room, looks great in all lighting and goes perfectly with my color scheme.

Benjamin Moore Pale Oak works beautifully in all kinds of light. BM White Dove trim (semi gloss) and ceilings (flat) look great with Pale Oak.
