Anyway you can re-finish both doors to make them be in the same family, and repeat things like an extra plank going across the closet door if the barn door has it, faux woodgrain on one door if the other door has a pronounced grain, et cetera. Consider swapping out the closet door handle with one that matches the hardware on the barn door. Also a barn door will change the whole look of the room to country/farmhouse, so you may want to change other decorative elements as well.

barn doors arent light, sound, or odor tight, like a swing or pocket door. maybe you love your spouse when they have a stomach flu more than i love mine.

here is photo dresser is off center or appears to be in the pic...I am hoping the door maunfacturer has the same style in a barn door...the bedroom is already somewhat country farmhouse so think a barn door would look great...

Another thought - can you change the bathroom door swing to swing out instead of in? That way it won't impose on the space in your bathroom.

I think the barn door craze is close to over. Thank goodness. Not a fan, unless it is in an actual barn.
