Remember folks, pumpkin seeds will take years to disappear. So for those folks who don't want to see these hulls in their finished VC, put the seeds in a plant pot with small holes or in some kind of netting. The worms will benefit once the seeds sprout, and easy to remove once the worms work the yuck away. Much easier this way than picking them out of VC.

If you need a supply of pumpkins for free, go around your neighbourhood where you see JOLs, put a notice in their mail box with your name and phone number and a note saying you'll p/u when they no longer need the JOLs. I beat the garbage truck every time.
