My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

How does the fan vent out?

    There is a blower mounted on the roof and the piping goes straight up inside the hood.

    The vent is an insert which is made by Broan as well as lots of other kitchen hood manufacturers. The motor is a "remote" unit mounted on the roof. It is not necessary to have a "remote" fan. These units are made with integral fan motors also which are installed in custom cabinetry and simply vented out the side wall or roof.
