Painted house before and after, too dark?

I thought it looked good but a few have commented on how dark it is, now I'm having second thoughts. What do you think?

I love it! Definitely a mid century modern vibe to me. Maybe eventually change your fence to something like this:

I think the color works well! It's essentially personal preference, but I do not think you went too dark.

I think it's nice. Front entrance is a real cave, though, so I'd go for some powerful lighting in there and a brightly painted front door.

looks great...picket fence is not exactly mcm...how a about a bright sunny yellow door?
