Help! My walls are naked!

I finished an amazing addition on my house with a master bedroom suite. Picked out a great wall color (Shadowbox Beige, I believe. It is actually slightly more purple in person) and decided to go with white bedding and white furniture...and then the inspiration stopped. Now I just stare at my blank walls, scratching my head.

I love homes that are fully decorated with cute, creative things hanging on the walls! I also have a fear of hanging things on my walls (what if I poke a bunch of useless holes??).

I wouldn't mind incorporating another color or accent color on the walls/desk area (the blue you see is a temporary piece on my desk). Something to maybe break up the gray/purple/whiteness.

Any help here would be greatly appreciated! See below for the 3 walls I am having trouble with.

find some art you love, put it above bed, pull colors out of that for accents including drapes, can you paint the register cover?

Thank you for the comment! Would you recommend a small piece of art? Or several pictures to put above in a row? I am not sure what a good size would be!

It's the small finishing touches that bring a room to life and I think drapery is a great way to bring in some warmth and color. The shades below would be lovely accessory colors with your paint color. I would add mirrors behind the side tables - per 2nd picture. Would the bench work at the foot of your bed and the vanity by the window (add a chair and accessorize to make it really pretty - a low lamp and makeup mirror and some silver/glass accessories). Add the color you are looking for in some lovely art on the wall next to the bed.

I like the idea of mirrors or art above the nightstands instead of something above the bed. Drapes as well

I do have curtains over the french door, which is across my bed (not pictured here), which are also white of course! Maureen and msteezzy I love the idea of putting mirrors behind the lamps - hadn't thought of that! There might not be enough room to put the bench in front of the bed, but I'l have to test it out. I like the idea of putting up the mirrors and then maybe something small right above the headboard. Thanks!

I agree with mzapper. You could move the bench (in the 1st picture that is beneath the window) to the foot of the bed, maybe getting some inspirational wall stickers, Bible verse wall stickers, or pictures, and replacing the blinds with some curtains. I think that would be good. You could get some Command Hanging Strip things to hang the pictures up with. They don't leave any holes on your walls!

Can you show the fourth wall? I think you need contrast. If you squint and look at the room everything is one solid white mass. Pick a color and put it around the room

Your vanity mirror needs to be bigger; like cover 2/3 area of wall above vanity. I was thinking a LARGE plate square simple mirror with the small curly que mirror superimposed on the larger one to add impact to wall? Maybe hungwith a wide ribbon or chain. Just a thought.

Add two pieces of art; one BIG and another on possibly a small set of two, three or four.

Add an accent color spread across the room as seen in this picture; any color will do and it does not involve any art, yet.
