Very beautiful framed art above the sofa!

Thank you Marilynjoc, I am wanting to replace the wooden end tables and sofa table I currently have with smaller glass ones and add a chair on the right side of the room.

What style would you suggest, I was thinking of a chrome frame.

i have a dinning room table and china cabinet which is darker than my current end tables.

i have oak trim throughout my house and at my stage in my life I won't be painting it white as much as I would love to.

You have 2 vents near the window, so I'd be afraid to put 2 chairs there. You can put one chair directly cross from the love seat. I would not do another leather though.

roman shades would be lovely,white wooden shutters. the valence is very dated.

Downbytheriver. Love the Roman shades however I have the oak trim and wooden windows so not so good if we are not painting. The Valance and blinds hide the trim right now.

Shirlpp thank you and yes I do have two vents in front of the window. I was thinking of a pattern beige or grey chair the high back with arms not sure of the name of them. Actually its like the one downbytheriver added in the picture above.

its not a big deal to have some contrast. or hang curtains floor to length and add blinds for light filtering.

in fact the first time I ever tried texting my daughter she laughed so had because I spelt her name wrong so bad because I didn't no where the back space bottom was. Her name is only 5 letters long and I had 13 letters in her name. Lol
