I want to paint my nightstands the same but not sure what color and fi

I have 2 large nightstands that I want to paint the same color to tie them in. What color and finish do you recommend? I am looking for 2 tall white ceramic lamps as well. The back wall is navy, bed frame is wheat and walls a ligher shade of wheat. Bed covering is navy, wheat and white. (Sorry I had to delete and repost because I forgot pics)

Use a color similar to your headboard for base color, then add interest with one or two of the other colors in your room.
