Budget decorating for our Airbnb living area

So we have a property we have been renovating to use for Airbnb for a few months. We inherited some free furniture from friends that had it in storage. I know it's a bit dated... but the brass coffee table is back in style. Couches are a bit large for the area- any suggestions on a rug to tie it together? Here's one I was thinking.

Open to all suggestions at this point to finish up the living room...

Keep in mind on a budget since we won't be living it just Airbnb and vbro here in Fort Lauderdale...

    I like the rug you are considering as it brings out the colours of your tortoise picture and some of the grey tones in the leather. I think with rug in place (get a large enough one so that all furniture, at least front legs, sit on the rug. I like the brass table and I would consider an accent pillow on the wicker chair to match or compliment the colours of the rug and picture. I think more artwork behind the chair or perhaps a mirror to reflect the pool. also consider a large brass wall sculpture or mirror frame

      i would consider a darker pad on the chair? or a blue. down there you will have more sophisticated guests, arts are big there. since you clearly are not going for the beachy vibe, how about art?

      are you saying you are ditching the overstuffed black leather sofas? the wicker chair? i am fine with what you have, just does not look like that pic.

      You also need side tables and good lighting. Pretend you are going to be living there. Where will you put your drinks? Where will you sit to read? Depending on what you are expecting as typical renters, you should go in each room and "live there" to make things comfortable and well-thought-out. And nothing that needs a coaster for drinks - you will be sorely disappointed in how careless people are!!!

      getting guests is all in the photos. i'd move heaven and earth to replace the black dino-couches with something that feels ft. launderdale. if i was looking at listings i'd have whooshed by those couches.
