You could do a more modern style glass and chrome...your kitchen is beautiful and adding a little shine would be gorgeous....otherwise any medium wood table or white would work in your kitchen..I would do an upholstered type counter stool with a back...looks nice in open concept type layouts.....that way it's finish does not have to match the table...it can be an accent fabric that will work with your adjoining space.

I wouldn't use bar stools at all if they area going to be half on and half off the tile floor, but maybe they are going on the far end that isn't pictured? Almost anything could work for a table - it depends on your style.
