Thank you for your inquiry! The key pad has the following uses:

1. Assists with programming operations

2. Allows users access to the door in extreme weather (by passes the BM fingerprint reader)

3. Lets the primary user assign user codes to different persons. The primary user then has the ability to delete specific codes (re: users) if they wish. This is extremely useful if the lock is used within a business, a hotel, an Airbnb etc.

To enroll a pass code

1 + * + Master Code + 3 Digit ID + New 8 digit pass code + New 8 digit pass code + #
