Sharing the progress of some cuttings Russ sent me back in August. I'm new to propagating cuttings like this so feel free to share any advice.

Russ sent me some monstera friedrichsthalii/obliqua and and philo pink princess cuttings.

There were a lot of the monstera cuttings so I tried a few different things with the cuttings.

I put one is water and it has a growth tip and a new white root. Now I'm wondering when its ready to be put in soil.

I put another shorter cutting in soil right away and it recently put out a new leaf.

I laid some of the longer vines around this pot with sphagnum peat moss and perlite and loosely covered with a clear plastic bag. Within a few days the two leaves on long stalks popped up, but they didn't look like the monstera leaves. Now there are three mystery stalks and two monstera leaves.

The Philo Pink Princess is putting out a bunch of new growth.
