question on the kitchen cabinets. Are you really tall?? those uppers seem way higher than normal. I realize you have a cooktop there, but the other ones? Normal distance is about 18-22" from the countertop. I'm just wondering what you are putting up there.

hi, thanks for the reply. There's a smoked mirror glass splashback going on wall - just waiting on it to arrive. No I'm not really tall, and yes they are quite high - there's an extractor fan in the middle cupboard. I just sort of assumed they had to be a certain distance away from hob...

my flooring is dusky walnut.

I can't decide if i should have all my walls white or have a grey feature wall..

for accessories i really like the idea of yellows and greens.

i still need to pick all my furniture too & don't know what to go for. I've spent the last 2 months trawling the internet looking for ideas. If we hadn't already over spent I would probably have hired an interior designer.

Not the tidiest so apologies for that. Just difficult mid renovation. Looking for a table to seat 4 that will also extend for family visiting.

Tv unit will be where the table is for now. Budget - not sure - but would hope around £2k or so for all the furniture.
