Yes that's the one and only GoldRush. And MM111 is a good rootstock because GR lacks vigor.

I'd never pay $39 for any apple tree. You can buy it for half that at many reputable nurseries.

Agreed, but by the time I add shipping and they only have the one variety I want on the rootstock I'm looking for, it adds up to about the same price. That was cummins nursery by the way. Everywhere else is dwarf rootstock I have looked. But thank you though!

Cummins seems to be shifting away from the larger rootstocks? That's my impression looking at their inventory? I bought about thirty trees from them last year on mm111 and b118 and was very happy with them. I wanted to buy about 10 more varieties this year but they didn't have them in those rootstocks. The only other nursery I could find all the varieties on large rootstock was TOA, and their reviews are excellent, so i'm giving them a shot. I agree it's painful. I will learn to graft and go that route from now on, but right now I'm not in a position to do so unfortunately.

Honestly I doesn't matter that it costs more (unless you're buying a lot of trees). You will got more than enough apples eventually from a tree that you will be paid back handsomely, despite how low or high the purchase price.
