Selling house - permit question

I will be selling my house in the (hopefully) near future, after we find a house to purchase. My realtor was looking into stuff on my house to make sure everything is set for when that time comes. He mentioned I have a permit that needs to be closed before I can sell the house. I didn't know I had an open one, but after researching some we found out it was pulled back in 2013 when I had my patio built. It is for Flood Zone Permitting, I guess the county pulled it due to the end of my yard technically being in an old flood zone? My realtor said they do that sometimes to make sure that the flooring level is high enough in case of future issues?

So my question is, is the company I contracted to build the patio on the hook for taking care of that? I've been in limited contact with them the last couple weeks, but the last time I got a message from them they said their permit was closed correctly. I left another message to them with the details about the permit I was having an issue with but have yet to hear from them. Is it worthwhile for me to pursue them about this? Or will they say it's not their problem? I would have thought anything to do with a project should be taken care of by the people I'm paying to do it? The permit for the flood zone was dated 7 days after the permit they had pulled and it currently says its on CO Hold.

Thanks for any advice y'all can give me!
