My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

    @lisacastoria unfortunately, we have seen significant discrepancies with the colors
    displayed on the computer screens of our Houzz.com users
    and the corresponding paint colors in life. Therefore, we have discontinued the practice of supplying paint colors on the site. Please accept our apologies.In the past, we have referred users with this similar question to Color Capture from Benjamin Moore. You can take a picture of a color and it will suggest paints that are close to that
    color.

    Another is Project Color from Home Depot. You can take a
    picture of a wall and then apply a new color to it. Kind of fun
    to play with!
