you have to keep up w/the sealing. anytime water no longer beads, it's time to reseal. try a concrete cleaner first.

Diamond pads on a Mikita grinder is the only way those etches are coming out. I'd charge you $300.00-$500.00. They'll be back, I promise; you're not going to seal your way out of this, it's the nature of the beast.

Ahhhhh the beauty of concrete patina....sigh. As everyone has said above, you can get some pastes...or try a grinder...or whatever else out there.

Sealing it...and sealing it...and sealing it some more will reduce these. Not stop them...but reduce them. Cement/concrete counter tops are as much work as marble. For that very reason, many people find out (the hard way) that they should not use concrete/cement as counter tops.

They are gorgeous. They are cool. They take hardwork, they stain, they patina. They evolve. For this reason I think of concrete as a living finish. It changes every day.
