Long term experience with this? How does it hold up? Who services it?

I love the idea of the Ariel Showers but I see that they are made in China. I am wondering if anyone has had long term experience with them and if they hold up. I am curious about service on them too. Is it a plumber who does repairs? Are there any problems associated with them?
