HELP... Family room redo

We just moved into our home about a month ago and have been temporarily using our family room as a bedroom while we redo the floors upstairs. I love the size of the room, but and stuck on the arrangement and type of furniture that would best suite this set up. There are two large entryways into the room. One from the dining room , the other off the main hall entryway.

I don't really want to place couches against the room to frame it out. I want it to be cozy and functional. Open to sectionals, Ottomans, chairs, sofas, love seats.

At this point in time all we have purchased is highhat lights to brighten up the room. The carpet is staying for now.

congrats on the new home. beige/lt gray and blue accents. how many will sit in there? what are the measurements? what will you use it for? do you need a game or dining area?

ok, did not confirm colors or how many or what you will use it for? i would put the tv on the 14' wall and float the couch in front of that, unless you just wanted to float a couple loungers or recliners in front of it. i will put together a sofa grouping first.

i am putting up 2 nice joss and main couches but they have an incredible sale on. you might wish to go look.

We would like to use this for our everyday room. For daily usage it's 2 of us, but would like it to be the room we use when we have company. I do like the blue gray colors. This room is right off the dining room which we plan on painting hale navy, so that would be a good tie in.

Are you keeping the dark brown trim? Removing those brown blinds would instantly brighten the space.

i already know i have some great pillows i can change anything else out, you just need to tell me what. so when you are ready. do you think you want a table and chairs there for games or you would do that in the dining room.
