Linen and rope, natural / might seem too basic and plain -- will you add curtains though?

We haven't really talked about adding curtains. That is one of our challenges, long table with a ceiling that is not flat.

Have you considered 2 or more fixtures over the table? A row of lantern style chandeliers would be lovely.

Thought about it but wasn't sure how 2 chandeliers would look with a vaulted ceiling.

Your table is country so and it is LONG! Your vaulted ceiling requires chandelier that hangs from a chain, so you can get it at the right height (about 30" to bottom of chandlier from table top) and I don't see a junction box up there? But let me see what other suggestions I might have.

Although this isn't "long" it would be a nice look especially with your vaulted ceiling.

This is interesting, but it would need some extra chain ordered and a special junction box to hang it with that plate.

There is one junction box just outta the picture...here is a pic of the ceiling. Its hard to see as it had a white cap on it in the middle.

This might be a good idea, and it is hanging from a cathedral ceiling so can be made to work. It is long. I think I know the company that makes this one. Let me look.

I found this one which is quite interesting. It is oil rubbed bronze, rope and hand blown glass. It is 36" round which is a nice size for your space and it hangs from chain and it is an Elk company fixture, so I'm sure you could order additional chain. It is $1,035. So, interesting one to consider. It is going to be very difficult to get something wide and long in your price range and with a single chain. But, I love a challenge! This one does have a nice "farmhouse" yet chic look about it.

Yes, I just noticed the junction box is offcenter. The junction box is a little farther back, if that makes sense. I am thinking I could always move the location of the junction box. And i thought building this table would be the hardest part....Here is a pic using a candlestick to show where the junction box aligns, give or take a few inches.

I don't mind increasing the price point for a chandelier if it gives the space the right look and complements the table.

OK, that is good information. I have one in mind, I just have to find it. I think the junction box is going to have to be moved too. That isn't a huge deal, but what I would do is put a junction box right at the apex and put a wood plate up to stabilize the top canopy. I will continue to look, but probably tomorrow! I tried putting your table in the other orientation, but the room isn't wide enough to do that as you probably know. I'll find some options for you.

Here's a few ideas

For sloped / nice shape - different finishes and sizes, etc....

This one might be very interesting. Casts great shadows on your cathedral ceiling and hangs from cables. They don't say what the top canopy is like so some additional research would be needed. This is actually metal bands from wine barrels. A definite conversation piece while also farmhouse chic! Click on "more info" for pricing, size, etc.

I have saved the above Safari Island one now. I spent two days, off and on, hunting that one up again! Hope you like it and under your price point! IF the canopy (top plate) would work. I think that can be handled with a bit of creativity. Only two reviews but both very positive.
