Provide a measured diagram of the space, with all openings, windows, and obstacles like the fireplace. And the sizes of the furniture.

Without a scale diagram, useful suggestions will be limited to ''declutter''. Right now, it's 20 pounds in a 5 pound sack. A lot needs to exit.

I think I would put the TV above the fireplace. The stools in front of the bar and the loveseat on the other side of the room from the bar.

Here is a rough sketch, using your floor plan (although the numbers don't quite work).

I have moved the TV to the top of the bar! Since you aren't removing it, we will use it!! You can stow the components behind on the bar shelves. (assuming there are some shelves back there.) If not, get creative. Probably require dropping a cable for TV, but it will be well worth it. Stow the two bar stools behind the bar, because they are of no value every day I suspect. Then, place your longer sofa "floating" in front of the patio doors and put a narrow sofa table behind it. It would be better if you could find a small cabinet the height of the back of your sofa for behind there for storing some kid stuff. In the corner to the left of the bar, make this the "kid" corner. All that stuff goes back there so it will be kind of contained. Toy box, etc. Take that white table/stand and put it across that area so it confines the kids area. Then put the love seat in front of the windows but about 2' away from the windows. Put the rug (which is too small for the space but for now) put it in front of the sofa and put the front legs of the sofa on the rug. Then put the coffee table on the rug. The coffee table is too big for this space as well, but I'm trying to use what you have for now. The fireplace is ignored in this layout, because it is not valuable in terms of making space more inviting and usable. Put the floor lamp that is over by the corner by the bar into the opposite corner (round thing on floor plan) for some light in that corner while watching TV. This allows a "walk path from stairs to kids area; from stairs into room and over to patio doors. That is main need I believe. Take the current TV stand and store it somewhere else for possible use or perhaps can be utilized in another room. Takes up too much room in this small space. What most people don't understand is just because a room is 19 x 15 or whatever, when you take out the "walking space of 3' around" the space becomes MUCH smaller for laying out furniture. Try this. I guessed at sizes of furniture but those are standard sizes, so they are probably close.
