I agree. Your tree still looks young. It may need to grow up a bit before it flowers. Looks good and welcome!!

Thank you Fruity Paws and Laura for your warm welcome and your fast response I decided to take some pics of the grafts tomorrow ( came home late, it was already dark to take good pictures). Will answer your questions tomorrow.

My tree was ordered from Europe and was sent to me soil less. I did not keep the paper after I received it. It was open by customs at the border and had been inspected ( I could tell because the outer package was open). Before I picked it up at post office, I had to pay a fee on top of what I already had paid for the tree price, taxes and shipping. After opening it I cleaned it gently with alcohol and rinsed it under warm water, potted it up and waited and prayed :) for it to come back. It was just a leafless green stick with roots. It took almost 3 months to break buds and leaves.

It looks good and healthy. I can't tell if the root crown is there... I see some lighter color (possible root) at the top of the soil. If so, that's perfect as the crown should be right at the soil level. The soil (pretty dark) looks like a bag mix. There are plenty of opinions on that. I have been transitioning to a modified 5:1:1 mix - more for weight that anything.else (I still have a few in modified MG which are fine). But a 10+ gal pot gets heavy and the bark does lower that pot's mass by 20-30%.

Give your baby more light. And keep doing what you're doing - it looks good.

keep an eye on pests - I'd remove all the debris on the soil - it's more areas for pests to hide and also promote fungus growth.

Thanks Fruity Paws for you advice :) I potted it in a regular store potting mix, with the crown right at the soil level and try to not overwater it. Giving it worm castings and composted sheep manure tea from time to time. Have not given it artificial fertilizers since I had it. It gets 5 hours of morning sun in the summer and only one hour of morning sun in the winter (because my windows are on the south east side) and I know that it is not getting enough direct sunlight :( I guess I should sit tight and wait for what it does next.
