Weathered oak vs jacobean on white oak

What is your favorite hardwood stain for a white oak floor? Initially I was thinking a nice dark stain with a satin finish but I'm worried that my little ranch doesn't get enough light and will look too dark. I like to decorate with muted grays/blues. Right now I'm kind of leaning towards weathered oak. I don't like flooring that looks reddish/orange/yellow. I feel like the whole dark floor trend is going to end soon

How about you mix the weathered oak with the gray, which will give you an effect a bit like the Jacobean but lighter?

that is definitely an option ACM, I just don't want it to look too grey. Maybe like 2/3 weathered oak 1/3 grey

well, I don't mind the oak by itself, but I thought you had a look in mind. honestly, unstained white oak is nice too, but that's obviously a completely different end of the spectrum!
