DR chandelier from consignment shop is up

Following up on my posts about the Pottery Barn chandelier from the consignment shop, so you can see the result. Over the weekend, DH and DS changed out the chandelier in the DR. I'm still getting used to the change because for the entire time we've been in this house (over 30 years) there's been a brass chandelier in the DR. Also, this light fixture leaves only 28.5" between the bottom of the fixture and the top of the table. According to the Pottery Barn website, where you can still purchase this chandelier, this fixture is best for an 8' ceiling, which is what we have. The table is 30" high. (Sorry for the blurry cellphone after picture.)

Thanks, everyone! The brass chandelier is left from the Queen Anne days in our DR. :)

Now, it's time to get the table ready for Thanksgiving!!

It's interesting how one piece can change the entire look of the room. It looks perfect over your table.

I have to show it to DH. The house we are hoping to buy will have a large living/dining room instead of two separate rooms and I told DH that our old brass chandelier needs to be replaced with something like yours.
