FYI, I just bought one of those Hard Duck dryer venting kits, and I'll try to remember to followup after it is installed. I'm so sick of my flexible metal venting tubing getting bent and broken and needing to be replace, we'll see if this really is a permanent solution. (It better be for the expense, but it will pay for itself in no time if it really is permanent both through energy savings and the expense of having to replace the vent tubing. Plus it will massively reduce the liklihood of fires.)

The Hard Duck product works only in situations where a direct-shot alignment is possible between the dryer exhaust outlet and the exhaust hole in the wall. It would not work for me. My dryer is at the corner of a room and the exhaust hole in the rear wall is set a little too far toward the side wall from the center-line of the dryer. The dryer can't be moved far enough to the left for direct alignment.
