My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

    There is a 'new' version of this plan that's a little different: http://houseplans.southernliving.com/plans/SL1825 and some clients have made modifications that increase the bedroom and reconfigure the kitchen. I'm not familiar with all the modifications that have been made, but if you call the folks at Southern Living, they may be able to share some of those changes with you.
