Here you go. I think your posts are not large enough and you need to lighten u the place with some color.

I Like the path and flowers in the previous picture but I think your actual posts are nice because they kind of disappear into the siding, I guess it depends on whether you want to focus on them or not. If you do want them to be focal points you could wrap them in stone on the bottom perhaps. Definitely some flower beds along the edge of he deck, and some rockers at a minimum. How about Red rockers? It's a Lovely house whatever you do!

Wanes idea of stone is a good one, perhaps using local and something similar on the patahway
