Nice plant. I could be wrong but I think it's aeonium kiwi, right? If so--It looks to me like there is a bloom on it, and if so, that rosette will die but the rest of the plant will be ok. You can just clip off the blooming rosette when the bloom is spent. I'd put it in the ground or a nicer pot. They are dormant in the summer, active now. I had mine in full zone 10a sun last summer, but I think they would have appreciated a bit of shade in the middle of the day.

It's a beautiful plant. I have mine for two years now but it does not Bloom yet. Only rosettes everywhere. They are easy to propagate as well.

Its Aeonium haworthii. These things grow super fast, and are probably my least favorite of the aeoniums, because of their lack of color and size :(. I would plant the whole thing, as if you made more, you will soon regret it because they like to overtake yards in a few years.

The good news is that they arent invasive, they just get big and are unsightly imo.

OTOH, even in spite of garrett's true words, if you like unwieldy balls of stems, adventitious roots, and leaves, socks, you've done well. They can always be pruned, too.

If it was my plant I'd put it in a pot about 2x the size that it is, in a gritty mix with some extra soil in it, plant, wait three days, give it some Vitamin B-1 or the like with some water, and watch it take off. In a sunny and warm location, it will literally explode with growth this time of year.

They will look wonderful compared to what was there, scraggly, half-dead, overgrown agapanthus. And I'm never shy with clippers.

They turn into kind of a rounded shrub after a while. The one in the photo didn't get quite enough water to hold onto its lower foliage. You could root a few of the best rosettes and throw the rest out. I agree with garrett222, a meh Aeonium. I have some in the garden because it was free.
