Hello, we are in the planning stage of a major home renovation on our 1950's brick ranch. We plan to paint the exterrior brick white. My question is about the foundation. Currently there is no delineation between the brick covering the foundation and the brick covering our walls and I think it looks weird. Also, if we paint the brick which all the way down to the ground then I know the the bottom 3 feet of brick will get very dirty looking, considering I live in red clay georgia and want a White House. Considering painting the bottom 2 feet black or creating some other type of faux foundation look. Has anyone done this?.
