My red banana trees which I have grown from a foot tall 3 years ago got about 4 hours of freezing when the garage was left open, and not only that, we have not been hanging out out there lately with the heater running. However, last year at this time all the leaves had dried and throughout the winter a new leaf would pop up consistently throughout the winter and by the time I put them out they had 5 or 6 leaves. When I put them away this year they have been fully leaved until the cold hit them, does anyone think it's just damage to the leaves or the whole thing is lost, and at what point do I cut the damaged tissue.
