How do i hang it?

Does the mirror sit on the fireplace and the sideways brackets are for stability? How do they secure?

    Jennifer-was curious how you hung this? I just bought it and my husband and I are having such a hard time. It appears the hanging brackets aren't even on the sides! Did you reinforce it with any additional materials/hardware???

    We ended up using wire to hang. Since it is so heavy we got lucky to be able to rest the bottom on the wainscotting.
